Originally from a sheep and grain farm in the Northern Mallee, Todd has worked in numerous roles within the corporate environment across Victoria and the Riverina including at a livestock agency, in banking and then progressing through to lead a large, high performing team as State Manager. Todd, who joined McKean McGregor in August 2017, is a highly motivated and proven senior leader with a strong focus on sales and relationships. Also a licensed estate agent, Todd prides himself on building lasting relationships based on mutual trust, respect and outstanding communication. Outside of work, Todd and his wife Aimie have three children who all like to keep active and remain heavily involved in several local sporting organisations.
Company Director since 2007, Glenn is recognised for his auctioneering talent and his genuine, approachable personality. Glenn started his working life as a stock and station agent at the age of 17, and at 19 he commenced his auctioneering career. Over the past 25 years, Glenn has worked in all facets of his business. He is incredibly ambitious and is constantly working on ways to grow and improve McKean McGregor. As a result, he has shifted his enthusiasm and attention towards developing McKean McGregor into the most respected boutique real estate agency in the Bendigo region. Glenn is principled, driven and has a genuine sense of passion. He works very hard to ensure you experience exceptional service each and every time you make contact. Glenn also loves good food and coffee. You will often find him at a local cafe, or dining with his family at one of the great eateries found in Bendigo.
Drew, as the son of a well-known stock and station agent, has found the industry has always been in his blood. Born and raised in Bendigo, Drew received a degree in Accounting at La Trobe University and then headed to Melbourne to work as an accountant for six years. Deciding that you can take the boy out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the boy, Drew returned to Central Victoria to work within the livestock and real estate industry. Now a fully licensed Estate Agent and with more than seven years’ experience, Drew can provide vendors with current market trends, and potential buyers with first-hand knowledge of all our region has to offer. Drew also works in livestock and office management.
After growing up and completing his education in the Bendigo region, Nick’s tertiary study has been a degree in all things property. He has become a very researched property professional, mature beyond his years. This, combined with Nick’s youthful enthusiasm, a great grasp of modern marketing techniques (especially through social media), his vast product knowledge and flexible strategies, ensure Nick will achieve nothing less than outstanding results for his clients. Michael developed a very early interest in real estate and has found his place as a highly regarded real estate agent over his seven-year career. Energetic, hard working and determined, Michael has an extensive knowledge of the local area, having been born and educated in Bendigo. Jayden entered the real estate industry three years ago in a marketing and client services role with McKean McGregor. He quickly demonstrated flair and a hunger for sales and became a qualified real estate agent in late 2016. With a modern and progressive approach to marketing and sales, coupled with old-fashioned hard work, great communication skills and local knowledge, Jayden has achieved fantastic results for his happy vendors and purchasers. Jayden is mindful of making the real estate experience as seamless and transparent as possible and, along with the entire team at McKean McGregor, ensure clients are in the very best hands at every stage of the process. Outside of real estate, Jayden is heavily involved in several sporting and community programs: as former captain and current ast coach of the Strathfieldsaye Storm Football Club; board member of the Strathfieldsaye & Districts Community Enterprise and volunteer with the AFL Central Victoria Junior Academy program.
Following a successful career in the Sport & Recreation and Education & Training industries; Danielle joined the McKean McGregor team in early 2016. Danielle’s decision to join McKean McGregor was an easy one; with a shared commitment to industry excellence and a culture of continual improvement focusing on high levels of client care and support. Danielle combines a Bachelor of Education with skills in project management, marketing, publicity and promotion, event management, resource development as well as finely tuned written and verbal communication skills. She has a keen interest in architecture, urban design and the history behind Bendigo’s heritage homes and iconic buildings and this, combined with the client’s knowledge of their own property and the collective local market knowledge of McKean McGregor, assists her talent for creating great marketing copy. Danielle lives in Bendigo, raising her three children, and she looks forward to assisting clients as they start new chapters in this vibrant and prosperous region.
Emily has grown up in the Bendigo region, and once she completed her schooling, she moved to Melbourne where she worked as a personal assistant in the finance sector. She eventually moved back to Bendigo and loves to call this beautiful city home. After spending months travelling and living in different countries, she's found herself back in real estate after previously having worked in property management for four years. It seemed like the natural progression to move into the sales side of real estate, and Emily is now an assistant to four sales agents. With the support of the team at McKean McGregor, she has been able to utilise her previous experience, whilst also broadening her industry knowledge. Emily loves the fast pace of real estate and that no two days are alike. Alex Collins began his agency career with McKean Mcgregor in 2011. A 6th generation Bridgewater lad raised on a mixed farming enterprise, livestock is in his blood.
Under the early tutelage of the Rea’s, Kevin and Glenn along with Kevin and Peter Gallagher, Alex had a great grounding and has progressed to becoming one of Central and Northern Victoria’s leading livestock marketers. With an approach built on old-fashioned service and relationships coupled with the use of modern technology to deliver clients best outcomes, Alex prides himself on his ability to source large numbers of store stock as a value add proposition for clients, and has worked hard to foster strong relationships Australia wide to increase these opportunities his existing and future clients.
Zeb Broadbent commenced in the agency industry in 2011. The early part of his career was in Gippsland before returning home to Central Victoria, where his strong work ethic has made him a pivotal part of the McKean McGregor team.
With a keen eye for stock, Zeb quickly developed into a highly astute livestock professional. An outstanding auctioneer, Zeb has twice won the Victorian Young Auctioneers Competition.
Zeb is currently captain of the Bridgewater Football Club, where he is a multiple Best and Fairest winner along with Loddon Valley Football League Best and Fairest in 2016. Zeb is a passionate trainer of working dogs and recently has enjoyed some yard dog trialing success.
Alexander Pollock commenced with McKean McGregor in January of 2015.
After completing a building apprenticeship, it was a strong desire return to Alexander's agricultural roots to work with livestock that has seen him quickly develop into an accomplished young agent.
Alexander grew up on an irrigation farm with an element of intensive lamb feeding. The knowledge gained from this as well as his ever-increasing knowledge of animal health gives him a great ability to add value to clients livestock operations. Alexander has a real passion for sourcing alternative marketing options for clients stock including ever-increasing forward pricing contracts. he is also an accomplished footballer and former Australian water skiing representative.
Will Lowe joined the McKean McGregor team in July 2016 at the completion of VCE.
Raised on a sheep farm at Naneella east of Rochester Will's knowledge of sheep in all facets certainly belies his age.
Will has an exceptional work ethic and this coupled with his strong natural eye for livestock makes him a great asset for the developing young team at McKean McGregor. His passion for wool and breeding sees him add great value to clients sheep operations. A keen sportsman, Will enjoys playing football over Winter and cricket in the Summer months.
Bendigo born and raised, Joel is the Operations Manager of the McKean McGregor Group, overseeing day to day operations and strategic planning for the livestock & real estate businesses. Joel joined McKean McGregor in August 2015, bringing with him over eight years of experience in banking and finance with specialities in agri-business, commercial banking, customer service, analytics, reporting and corporate governance. Joel has been pivotal in the digitisation of internal processes, streamlining tasks and the implementation of sound governance tools, enabling the McKean McGregor team to better assist their livestock & real estate clients. Away from the office Joel keeps himself busy holding a chair on the board of directors for CEPA Co-Operative and also as an active committee member for the Bendigo Mountain Bike Club. If Joel is not out on the MTB trails he is most probably enjoying some family time with his wife and two daughters.
Janelle joined McKean McGregor in August 2016 in order to manage the livestock accounts side of the business. She has a diverse background and qualifications in finance, accounting, human resource management and training management. This has been greatly beneficial in assisting and supporting the growth of all aspects of the business, both now and into the future. Originally hailing from the Mallee, Janelle has a great empathy for the agricultural industry and a particularly strong rapport with McKean McGregor’s farming clients.
Abbey was born and raised in Bendigo where she completed her schooling and went on to work in administration, leading on to business management. With a passion for business accounting, she began studying her Bachelor of Accounting part time in 2016 and joined McKean McGregor in April 2017 where she works as the group receptionist for both Real Estate and Livestock. Along with the face-to-face interaction with clients and fellow staff, Abbey also welcomes the opportunity to support others. She enjoys learning all aspects of both the real estate process and the livestock industry, as well appreciating the diversity and variety that both areas provide. Abbey is excited to be part of McKean McGregor and is enthusiastic to complete her degree and utilise it within the business as it continues to evolve.
